Downsizing Help
Moving into less space: keepers moved and set up, family pieces delivered, the rest stored, donated or hauled away.
Estate moving services
After a loss, an estate sale or the sale of the family home, someone has to get every heirloom to the right person and clear out the rest. We do the lifting, the driving and the hauling so the family can focus on each other.
When a house has to be emptied
Estate moves usually come with a deadline (a closing date, a listing, a lease) and a family spread across town or across the country. Grandma’s china cabinet goes to one sister, the dining set to a grandson in another state, the piano to the church, and a garage full of everything else needs to go somewhere.
We plan the whole thing with you: what goes where, in what order, and what happens to what’s left. Then our crew wraps and carries the pieces that matter as if they were our own, and clears the house so it’s ready to sell or hand back.

How an estate move works
In person or by video, with whoever is making the decisions. We note the heirlooms, the heavy pieces and anything that needs special packing.
Tag or list each piece with its destination. We build the route and the written estimate around it, including any long-distance stops.
Pads, wrap and straps on everything. Fragile keepsakes packed in sturdy boxes with plenty of paper. Deliveries in the order you choose.
Donations dropped off, unwanted furniture hauled away, and the house left ready for the next step.
The pieces that matter
China cabinets, armoires, grandfather clocks and family pieces get pad-wrapped, strapped and loaded where nothing can shift. One customer told us her antiques arrived “in the same shape as it left.”
Heavy pieces get the right crew and equipment. Mention them during the walk-through so we come prepared. More on specialty moving.
We pack fragile and sentimental items with sturdy boxes and plenty of packing paper, labeled by destination so nothing ends up at the wrong house.
We’re movers, not appraisers or estate-sale companies. If you’re planning a sale, have it first. We’ll come afterward to move what’s being kept and clear what’s left.
In their words
I called them to have a piano moved. They were able to do it the same day and they arrived on time and did an awesome job.
Excellent communication skills, wrapped all my antiques in bubble wrap and everything arrived on time and was in the same shape as it left.
Jay and Nick did an incredible job, moved very heavy items with ease. Great value! Fast and reliable.

Estate move questions
Yes. We can split one load between several addresses in a day, and add long-distance stops when family lives out of state. List who gets what and we’ll plan the route.
Someone with authority over the estate (a family member, the executor or someone they choose) needs to review and sign the paperwork before we begin and let us in. After that, they don’t have to stay for the whole job.
Usable items can go to donation drop-offs, and we haul away the rest. See storage & cleanouts.
No. We handle the moving, distribution and clean-out. Have any sale or appraisal done first, then we’ll take it from there.

Tell us where you are going and what is coming with you. We will walk you through the plan, the crew and the cost before moving day.
