Our story
A Family-Owned Moving Company, Toledo Through and Through
Started in 2003 by two friends just out of high school. Still family owned, still in Toledo, and still moving people the way we’d want our own families moved.
How Fox started
Two Friends, One Simple Idea
Fox Relocation Service was founded in 2003 by two good friends who had both dreamed of running their own business once high school was done. The idea was simple: an honest moving company with fair rates, no hidden charges, and hard-working people who treat every customer’s home like their own.
They started small and grew one move at a time, through honesty, integrity and hard work, and by making sure every customer was happy before the truck pulled away. More than 23 years later, that’s still how we judge a job.
They say “You will do better in Toledo,” and we believe it. Toledo is a hard-working, blue-collar town with good values, and our crews bring those same values to every move, whether it’s across the street or across the country.

Josh Szczur owns and runs Fox. He books moves, answers questions, and trains every mover himself along with our senior crew members: safe lifting, careful handling, and treating people right. Free estimates in writing and billing explained up front. If your move changes and needs more crew or equipment, we’ll ask you before anything is added.
Careful hands
Every piece is padded and wrapped, shrink-wrapped where it helps, strapped and secured in the truck. Floors and door frames are covered.
On time
A courtesy call when we’re on the way, a crew that gets right to work, and no billing for breaks.
Trained crews
Movers trained by the owner and senior crew members in safe lifting, careful handling and treating people with respect.

The time had come. Our house of 59 years had become too much to maintain… They worked around the stair lift, treating everything with care. They placed every piece where we requested. We appreciate you making a difficult transition as pain free as possible.
I had a hard time trying to find a local mover in Maumee, Ohio to assist with moving my daughter to Kalamazoo, Michigan… From Josh in the main office that booked the appointment to Nick and Brad the movers, they did a great job to get it all done in a short time along with wrapping everything.
Used Fox to move from Maumee to Sylvania. Chad, Nick, and Corey were great to work with. Nice, professional, and hardworking. They were also very flexible with what we wanted.
Josh and Nick moved us from Ohio to Florida. They were professional in every aspect. Not one item was lost or damaged in the 1,100 mile move.
My mom and I were scammed by a moving company and lost our deposit. I called Josh at Fox Relocation Service and he absolutely saved the day. He and his team packed up everything and moved my mom and me from Michigan back to Colorado in less than a week.
Josh and his crew are top notch. We hired Fox for a complex, multi building move. They didn't just move things. They checked to make sure the items were moved to the right place.
I called them to have a piano moved. They were able to do it the same day and they arrived on time and did an awesome job.
Excellent communication skills, wrapped all my antiques in bubble wrap and everything arrived on time and was in the same shape as it left.
