The Wood County seat
A College Town With a Lot of Moving Days
Bowling Green is a city of about 31,000 with a median age of 24, thanks to Bowling Green State University. About two-thirds of homes are rentals, so leases turn over every summer and August gets busy. There are also plenty of long-time homeowners on the older streets near downtown and Wooster Street, and families arriving for jobs at the university, the hospital and the plants around town.
Not everyone can be there on moving day. One Bowling Green customer followed her truck a day later by car with her dog while family members met our crew: “By all accounts a great, uneventful, well executed job! … I was kept informed by Josh before and after.”

Very responsive, personable, and meticulous with unloading items. Took care of all items with care, would recommend their service!
The workers were friendly, worked very hard, and did an excellent job. Would definitely use again.

Bowling Green Moving Tips
- Avoid BGSU move-in weekends if you can. Campus-area streets and parking fill up in mid to late August.
- Lease ending in summer? Book as early as possible. Summer is our busiest season everywhere, and late July through August is busiest in college towns.
- Can’t be there? A friend or family member can sign for you and show the crew where things go. We’ll keep you posted by phone.
